When Manual Intervention is needed over just stretch/exercise.
Stretch and exercise is always beneficial. There is a point where it plateaus in its beneficial effects. If you notice you have to perform a certain regimen either before or after an activity in order to 'avoid injury', you have 2 choices. Good for the tightened foot structures between each long bone of the foot. Combine release with stretch and you'll find that your midfoot and your toes gain motion/function!
