Treatment Paradigm

Treatment paradigm of looking above and below the region in pain as well as detailed assessment of why and how that pain developed is something I consistently implement.  Each time you come in, we will address what issues remain, what has been improved, and how your body presents that day.  Regular reassessment is key to making sure all things are addressed as the body changes while it heals.  Diagnoses I regularly treat and heal include, but are not limited to:

Complex/Chronic Pain

I specialize in the unusual pain that lingers.  The ones that you’ve been treated for and it’s better, but it’s still there.  I love to puzzle out the body and it’s anatomical connections to get to the heart of why it’s lingering and/or why it has not yet been resolved.  More importantly, listening to you and how your body feels better with certain activities/movements or gets aggravated with other movements/activities is key to finding the cure!  For instance, a patient was diagnosed with patellar tendonitis.  She was ardent in stretching and strengthening and had been to physical therapy before.  After a detailed assessment and listening to her history, it was found that the pain was originating from her hip/pelvis positioning that was causing aggravation to her femoral nerve and represented as typical patellar tendonitis, but was really a combo pelvis, hip, sacrum, nerve issue!  The best physical therapy is 1:1 with continual reassessment so that details are not missed and the full body can be addressed.  You don't have to live with lingering pain from tendonitis, fasciitis, bursitis, or because your "hips are off".  There can be relief and there can be answers to your complex, chronic pain and my goal is to find why and fix it!

Body Tune-ups

Keep your body in tip-top shape with much-needed: cupping, IASTM (Graston), Kinesiotaping, manual therapy ("adjustments"/HVLAT), myofascial release, and joint mobilizations!  After a thorough evaluation, pop in for 30min "tune-up" sessions to prevent injury and keep the body feeling good so you can keep working out!  Or, if you have 1-3 sessions after a package to address a complex, chronic pain problem, use them towards tune-up sessions to make sure mechanics of the body are still optimal and that you are still on track to everything staying under control!  10% off each session with purchase of a package!  Saving you time and money in the short AND long run!
