Chronic pain issues require changing your movement patterns!

Your body gets 'used to'/'stuck' in your shifts when you've become locked up over years. Even when those areas have been 'unlocked' and mechanics have been restored, your movement patterns are neurologically patterned to your historical cheat pattern until you teach your body to learn to use what it gained and move 'back to normal'.
Restoring full mobility on the treatment table is not enough. The video above shows a movement pattern persistent enough that his usual shifts of: 1) Left side of pelvis shifted higher (superiorly), 2) spine laterally shifted to the left, 3) left shoulder sits higher than the right, 4) right knee twist out, and 5) right foot twist out returns despite having made gains while on the treatment table because those gains are not yet used/corrected in everyday movement.
Just because we restored left hip mobility doesn't mean the body will automatically use what's gained. Addressing HOW you move on a regular basis matters more than a regimen of stretches/exercises -- it's the difference of consistently all day vs 30min/day.
Best physical therapy practice dictates address ALL of you. Our bodies are complex, dynamic organisms - it makes more sense to address the body, our movements, our habits, etc. vs homing in to the one, localized area of pain.
